Buying Domains – Helpful Tricks

There are lots of places online where you should purchase domain names. GoDaddy, DomainCheapsters are two of the most typical, and one’s I’ve personally used. If you’d like to find more just visit some internet marketing forums and ask for views, or do a search. Domain names are cheap often around $10 a year at the most. I know at DomainCheapsters if you buy six or even more at a time they’re around $6 to $7 dependent on the extension you get.

There is a lot of conflicting viewpoints about whether or not you need to get any domain with a different extension such as .net or .org for example. Personally, I’ll use a .com, .net or .org. I have found that any of them work very well for my desires and .net are quite inexpensive. You’ll need to find what’s best for you, but you need to recollect something : many people will say that consumers will forget a long URL or a different extension, which is right but how does one target the majority of your customers?

If you aren’t handing out business cards and expecting them to type in the website name than it isn’t such a large issue.

take the time to create your net presence, do not get bamboozled into assuming that going the ‘free’ route with a blog is the best way to go.
